Jane D. Saltsman joined Glassman, Browning, Saltsman & Jacobs, Inc. in 1975. Since that time, she has concentrated her practice primarily in the areas of family law and general civil litigation.
Ms. Saltsman has substantial experience in negotiating and drafting marital settlement and prenuptial agreements, and excels in litigating complex family law issues involving contentious child and spousal support, property division, custody, and paternity issues. She has developed a particular reputation for handling family litigation for actors and other high-profile clients.
Ms. Saltsman has a proven record of success in a range of civil litigation areas. In a prosecution for real estate fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, she obtained a seven figure jury verdict for her clients. She has successfully brought an action to protect the religious freedom of Cambodian war orphans, defended a Los Angeles City Council Member against a defamation action, and defended a New York Stock Exchange company against a sexual harassment claim.
Ms. Saltsman has presented programs to the Century City and Beverly Hills Bar Associations on a host of topics, including emerging issues in family law and a program on representing actors in family law proceedings. She also teaches continuing legal education courses in family law.
