Stephen D. Miller

Stephen D. Miller is Of Counsel with Glassman, Browning, Saltsman & Jacobs, Inc., and has represented clients in complex civil and criminal litigation for more than forty years, first as a Federal Prosecutor, and later as a lawyer in private practice.

Mr. Miller began his career as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California.  He served in both the civil and criminal divisions of the Office of the United States Attorney in Los Angeles, California.  The United States Attorney's Office appointed him Assistant Chief of the Special Prosecutions Division, where he investigated and prosecuted cases of major significance to the Government.

In private practice, Mr. Miller has acted as lead counsel for large corporations in numerous high stakes criminal litigation cases.  He represented Sears, Roebuck & Company in its successful defense against charges of Customs Fraud, and successfully defended the General Dynamics Corporation against charges of Government Contract fraud.  Mr. Miller has also represented several prominent political figures who have been the subject of governmental investigations, including former Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley.

Mr. Miller has taught Trial Advocacy at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and has lectured to professional groups concerning a variety of legal subjects.  He was recently named by Los Angeles Magazineas one of Southern California's top "Super Lawyers."
